Lawnhurst Farms purchased posttensioned precast walls to work with their innovative digester system. The precast walls were 26’-0″ in height and had sleeves to allow post-tensioning of the walls. There are seals on the sides of each panel and the bottom of the panels are poured into the floor. Once the walls are posttensioned they completely seal themselves and can be used to hold gas. There was approx. 8,200 sq.ft of precast.
